Serving Seniors and Caregivers in Lancaster County

Aging & Wellness Specialists

Funding for the POMCF website was graciously provided by Mrs. Sarah ‘Sally’ (Shaw) Celia of Lancaster, PA in memory of her husband, Gregory J. Celia, Jr. Greg lived a life of service to his community and the individuals in it. He is remembered fondly for his contagious smile, sense of humor, warmth, and love of his family. Greg is the essence of caring for our neighbors that Peace of Mind Caring Foundation strives to embody. I am forever grateful for the generous gift and support from him and Sally.

With Love,
Kristen Nebel

Our Mission

In home care for our most vulnerable population

As we age, the need for personalized care becomes essential. Unfortunately, this care can be expensive. There are many “gap” individuals can’t afford this care, and also don’t qualify for state and federal assistance programs.

We strive to help those individuals by providing both programs and an environment of positivity, dignity, and connection.

Our Story

What we do & how we started

PEACE OF MIND CARING is a 501c3 non-profit aimed at supporting and caring for low-income elderly individuals in the Lancaster County who cannot afford to pay for in home services, but don’t qualify for state and federal assistance programs.

How we Serve

Aging and Wellness specialists for ages 50+

Our Community Based Approach

We will strive to create caring communities that support the needs of aging individuals and their caregivers.

We will do this by funding in-home services for low-income “gap” individuals and providing caregiver guidance and education that better equip them for their role.

Why is this needed?

The needs associated with aging are not met in the current system. Services are difficult to obtain, confusion exists about the medical plan, and the patient/ family often feel like they are alone. Typically, healthcare services stop when you leave the doctor’s office and patients are left to interpret and implement things on their own with little or no support.

How Can We Help?

Our foundation, with your support, will help the elderly and their caregivers by funding in-home services for lower income “gap” individuals (who cannot afford to pay for in-home services themselves, but who are above the qualifications for state and federal funding).
